Well, I think that Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has the campaign slogan for the Democrats (Youtube – Schumer):

“… focuses on those little, teeny,  yes “porky” ammendments… the American People don’t care”

So, I think that when people ask why the bill was so big Democrats should say “Because you really don’t care”.  Maybe that can even be the next campaign slogan “Socialism… Because you don’t care”.

Well good ole Harry has decided he doesn’t really care much for the law.  It is just interfering in his grand plan.  So, screw the law!  He’s going to say forget what Minnesota thinks… we’re seating Franken.

Senate Democrats move toward seating Franken

Unbelievable.  I am so sick of this style of politics.  Let’s do something crazy and obey the damn law!

Al Franken should not even be a serious contender in this race.  He is in no way, shape, or form qualified to be one of the 100 people who represent the 50 states.  I am completely disappointed with my home state (MN) for voting for him to a point where it’s even close enough to create a question.  I would have thought that the trials and tribulations that Ventura caused qould have soured the people on celebrities.

I actually shook hands with Franken this summer at a 4th of July parade in Northern Minnesota (around my home town).  I only did it to get a picture with the WORST potential senator EVER.  Now, they have certified the election in his favor!  How amazing!

Coleman making the rounds in D.C.

Coleman is still fighting this from happening.  That said this is a disaster of his making.  He is a Dem-Lite like John McCain.  Maybe not as bad but close.  They don’t stand for anything.  They try to get along.  While the liberal (Franken in this example) is fighting, they are trying to play nice.  They don’t want to call a liberal a liberal.  They agree with the potential of bigger govt.  They don’t evangelize lower taxes.  This is what happens.

It is time for the moderates, dem-lites, RINOs, or whatever you want to call them to go.  I just am concerned about Franken actually being elected.
