Ronald Reagan was a statesman and principled man.  Here is an amazing recording of his opinion of socialized medicine (today’s translation: Universal Healthcare).

It is a beautiful thing and I can only hope that another Reagan rises!  Viva la Reagan Revolution!!

Even Putin is warning us!!!

This is ridiculous.  I am amazed at the number of people who have no issue with the Federal Government putting a “stimulus” package in place that will cost us over 1 TRILLION dollars.  Seriously, do we understand how much that is??  But I keep hearing, well we just need to give it time.

Why do we simply believe what we hear from the political class in this country?

Does no one question what these talking heads are telling us?

They say it’s the worst since the Great Depression.  Are you serious?  Do we live outside of the television and the Internet?  Does reality really make that ring true?  I just can’t believe it.

Even Putin (former Soviet KGB Officer) is warning us against socialism.  HE WAS A COMMUNIST.  He sounds like Barry Goldwater/Ronald Reagan.

No One Cares about Pork

Well, I think that Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has the campaign slogan for the Democrats (Youtube – Schumer):

“… focuses on those little, teeny,  yes “porky” ammendments… the American People don’t care”

So, I think that when people ask why the bill was so big Democrats should say “Because you really don’t care”.  Maybe that can even be the next campaign slogan “Socialism… Because you don’t care”.

Socializing Medicine through the Stimulus Bill

While listening to Rush today he pointed out an article that discusses some of the details of one of the items in the “Stimulus” bill.  Amazingly, somehow socializing medicine is part of the stimulus.  Take a look at this:

In this article Ms. McCaughey outlines some of the items that are in regards to forming a national healthcare board, electronic tracking of healthcare data,  and National Coordinator of Health Information Technology.  Doesn’t really strike me as a job stimulus item but I guess that doesn’t really matter much.

Scary quotes from the article:

One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal is to reduce costs and “guide” your doctor’s decisions (442, 446).”

“Hospitals and doctors that are not “meaningful users” of the new system will face penalties. “

“Daschle says health-care reform “will not be pain free.” Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them.”

Shouldn’t these types of changes be discussed in the houses of government??  Shouldn’t the people have the right to hear what is being planned?  Where is President Obama’s transparency?  IT DOESN’T EXIST!

CALL YOUR SENATORS AND DEMAND REMOVAL OF THIS FROM THE BILL.

Nothing Better To Do

So here we are. We have troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. The economy appears to be headed for recession. We have shootings every other week in a school somewhere. We are in the middle of the war against terrorism in the world. And what is your congresman doing? Trying to indict Roger Clemens!! Everything going on and Congress is interfering in baseball??

What ever happened to the concept of limited federal government that the Constitution described? The government has gotten so bad that they now are overseeing Major League Baseball. What’s next? Investigate the use of non-USGA golf balls on the PGA? Maybe they could investigate how to get a real playoff in college football.

WAKE UP PEOPLE… This is NOT something that the morons in Washington D.C. should be doing!!!
