A friend named Bob McNeal asked something in a comment on previous post that I thought needed an article of it’s own. He asked the following question:
“Is there such a thing as a Liberal Libertarian?”
I would answer whole-heartedly yes. I tend to side with many in thinking that the spectrum isn’t as simple as left and right. This is because you can believe conservative view points or liberal viewpoints and still not completely believe in authoritarian government. I personally like this image better than the traditional spectrum.

I personally think that this better fits the true realm of political viewpoint in this country. If you are interested I believe that the World’s Smallest Political Quiz uses this model.

Is the red dot your personal result from the World’s Smallest Political Quiz?
I just took the quiz. I’m not sure I agree where it put my red dot, but the concept and graphical representation is very interesting. Thanks.

Love the blog and especially love the blog header! I took the test, my dot sits on the right top corner of the centrist box, covering the convergence of the lines from Liberatarian, Centrist and Conservative. I have my feet in 3 corners of the political spectrum!

Thank you for the kind words. It’s been fun!
For you the test was like going to the four-corners region in CO/AZ/NM/UT! Nice. Not a bad place to be!
